Terms and Conditions

1) All entrants must be approved members of Zipcar UK and meet the following requirements: a) The member’s account must be fully active with no suspensions or restrictions in place. b) The member’s account must be in good standing with no warnings for debt, dangerous driving, drug use, smoking in car or negative member behavior. 2) The competition is not open to Zipcar (UK or international) employees and their immediate friends & families. 3) To enter the competition, members must take a photograph during a Zipcar UK reservation. 4) The photograph must be submitted via social media: a) On the Zipcar UK Facebook page tagging #MyZiptrip b) Via Twitter tagging @ZipcarUK and #MyZiptrip c) Via Instagram tagging @ZipcarUK and #MyZiptrip 5) Members can submit multiple entries. 6) Entries consisting of indecent or offensive content either in the image or comments will be deleted without warning. a) Zipcar UK’s decision on what it deems to be indecent or offensive will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 7) The Zipcar UK Team will, at their discretion, select winners from all eligible entries. 8) Winning entries will receive a refund of their trip length up to a maximum of: a) One day, capped at the day rate for the reserved vehicle, for roundtrip reservations. b) Four hours (240 minutes) for Zipcar Flex reservations. 9) The refund will exclude: a) Additional mileage b) Penalty charges including but not limited to: late return, dirty car, low fuel and smoking in car c) Damage fee waivers d) Toll charges e) Cleaning or valeting costs f) Parking costs g) Parking tickets (PCNs) h) Penalty charges relating to driving offences including but not limited to: speeding, using a mobile phone when driving, not wearing a seatbelt and red light offences i) Damage charges relating to the reservation j) Membership fees 10) The refund will be processed by the Zipcar UK Team back to the payment card from which it was taken. 11) The refund may take up to 28 working days to complete. 12) In the event of a failed refund, the total amount will be applied as driving credit to the member’s account. a) The credit will be valid for use on reservations for 30 days from the date of application. 13) Entrants agree that all submitted imagery and comments can be used by Zipcar UK and its partners for this campaign and future promotional material. a) No rights or royalties will be paid or awarded for the use of this content on any platform. 14) The prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable. 15) No cash alternatives for the prize will be offered or provided. 16) Zipcar UK reserves the right to cancel, postpone or vary the Competition. 17) Zipcar UK's decision as to any aspect of the Competition or these Terms and Conditions is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 18) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
